It was NOT fun. It better be the best birth control on the face of the earth. If this doesn't work for me, we will do the surgery the doctor didn't want to do because I am "too close to the change of life" and I will insert one little Mirena in him.
Whimper.
Oldest Son was really sick yesterday. We saw the specialist and after about twenty pokes with a six inch needle, it was decided he didn't have an abscess, yet. Antibiotics, pain relievers and 18 hours of sleep and he feels much better. Nine more days of meds and hopefully he'll be as good as new.
Even after my experience today I would have gladly taken the needle for OS yesterday. He was very brave but I could tell it hurt so much. He was brave so I didn't cry, but boy, did I want to.
I have to go lie down now, cramps suck.
