Every year I try to bring the kids to the ocean in Rhode Island. When they were little we used to go once a week, but then girlfriends, sports and jobs got in the way. Now we shoot for once a summer. This year we hadn't been able to go due to Oldest Son's work which ended last Friday afternoon. I put down my foot last night and told them today is the day since OS will be leaving on Friday morning for college. gulp
Anyway, we went. Oldest Son's girlfriend couldn't come because her departure date is TOMORROW. sigh But Youngest Son and SoccerGirl could make it and we all had fun even if the waves weren't the greatest.
