I may have found a facility for horse riding lessons. After I do a couple more things here at home I am going to do a drive by. I have heard good things about this woman but before I commit myself to meeting her or her horses I want to take a look-see.
She also has a quarter horse for sale ... but that has nothing to do with me ... right? 8)
Hubby is supposed to work on Oldest Son's car tomorrow. OS could never take Hubby's truck because it's his work truck and that's not something to mess around with. Also, Mary (locked, sorry) suggested, because I've had little access to my car lately due to Hubby's procrastination with taking care of OS's brakes, that I leave purchasing Hubby's presents to last and then if I didn't get around to it he just wouldn't have much under the tree. Well, Mary, if my Hubby was normal that would work. Unfortunately (for a number of reasons of which we will only delve into one) he is the type of man that if something appeals to him or even if the idea of acquisition occurs to him, he just buys it for himself. No ifs, ands, or buts. No hesitation. It makes gift giving impossible for the rest of the family. I get him a few little do-das that he doesn't really care about just so he has something on Christmas morning.
So holding out buying him something would serve absolutely no purpose at all. Good thought though!
I've spent the morning doing chores with the phone attached to my ear. I don't like the phone but on mornings like this one a Blue Tooth would have been convenient. My neighbor (and friend) discovered her husband has been unfaithful and skipped using protection. Anger, fear, sorrow, worry, we hit them all this morning. I could kick his ass myself but since this is a repeat performance I am only going to hold her hand. Hopefully this time she will kick him to the curb legally.
I am going to brave some stores after the farm viewing. Wish me luck and safety!
