The party was SO much fun! It was for my friend, Patty, who is mom to SoccerGirl (sorta-ex of Youngest Son, although she was here yesterday after school). We tried to not be too friendly when the kids were seeing each other all the time but she works down at our favorite watering hole and our friendship developed around that. We are fairly careful about not discussing the kids ... too much.
Anyway, back to the party. It was held, of course, down at the Grill and we guests literally took over the whole place. There was a band that had been scheduled long before we planned the party and it just so happened to be more of our friends. Old hometown week, I'll tell you.
Here's Hubby, Me and Jeff. Notice my red cheeks? Yep, I hadn't even taken a sip of that wine in front of me. It's usually so cold there but last night they had the heat set on a bazillion degrees, enough so other people were talking about it too. Anyway, nice glow, huh?
This is my friend Katie who is such a great girl - funny, intelligent with the kindest heart. And THAT, is Patty's new little man. We had lots of fun writing little comments all over him (and "dancing" with him ... perverted women!).
